The Plateau State Governor, Barr Simon Bako Lalong today 20th May 2020, Presided over an emergency EXCO Meeting of the Plateau State Government to discuss efforts so far in tackling COVID-19 Healthforbes Media reporting.
With 50 cases recorded so far since the outbreak of these deadly virus, 35 active cases and 15 patients have been discharged after treatment from health experts and they tested negative twice.
The EXCO resolved to do more in creating awareness, testings and halting community transmission.

The Plateau State Government also resolved from their EXCO meeting to engage a consultant firm to assist the State jerk up their IGR from about 900million naira (Pre-COVID-19) to about 3 billion monthly.
The State shall soon have another COVID-19 testing Centre in Plateau State, awaiting accreditation by the NCDC.
