Boss Mustapha, who is the Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 had announced that his four children had tested positive for COVID-19 during a statement in his briefing in Abuja on Monday.
Lastweek the SGF had since gone into self-isolation with his wife after they were exposed to the virus.
Boss Mustapha stated that while both of them tested negative for the virus, his four children are presently receiving treatment.
Boss Mustapha said “The first test we ran, the result came back with six members within my household testing positive. The second test confirmed other three. From March to November, we are being confronted with a figure of nine. it was quite a traumatic experience.
“My wife and I consistently tested negative but members of my household were all infected. The last one was a nightmare. I was not infected but the truth about it is the agony of having members of your household (infected).
I have four kids of which all are infected.
“A lot of you here are parents, so you need to do everything you can to ensure that you keep yourself and members of your family safe”
Recently, The Federal Government had expressed concerns that citizens of Nigeria might be entering another wave of the second lockdown following the transmission of the dead virus regarding the rise in the number of new cases in recent times.
H-Forbes gathered that the Minister of Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire had stated that he had instructed an isolation order and treatment centres well equipped in the country to get ready for the reopening over the new developments.
On Monday, Federal Government had banned large gatherings, restricting the crowd at wedding occasions, conferences and seminars including other programmes to a maximum of about 50 people.
Also, FG instructed civil servants below grade 12 to work from home.
