Sooraj, A 27-year old man has been paraded by police officers for allegedly killing his wife by letting in a loosed cobra snake into her room after first unsuccessful attempt to murder her with a viper snake.
According to Source, Sooraj worked in a private bank, he purchased the snake primarily to murder Uthra his wife.
The police officers in the southern part of Kerala in India reported that he had planned to run away with all her gold, money and marry someone else.
It stated that phone recorded proved that Mr Sooraj had been contacting with the serpent handlers and also had watched snakes videos on youtube to equipped himself in exucuting his evil plans.
Mrs Sooraj, Uthra who’s 25-year old was reported to have been bitten by a viper snake on 2nd March at her husband’s apartment and then again a reported cobra’s bite within a week which ended up taking the live of the beautiful Mrs Uthra.
She was recuperating at her parent’s apartment earlier this month when her evil husband Sooraj obtained a cobra snake again from a snake handler.
According to reports, while his wife was fast asleep, Mr Sooraj threw the snake on his wife’s body and sat at the side of the bed watching the snake biting his wife twice.
She was immediately rushed to the hospital the next morning where health experts confirmed her dead from the cobra’s bite.
When Sooraj tried securing ownership of his wife’s property few days after his wife’s death, her parents immediately puts a call across to report to the police officers for investigation on their daughter’s snake bite’s death!
According to the police officer’s reports, their marriage involved a huge dowry comprising of almost 100 gold coins, a new car and some 500,000 rupees (around $20,000) cash.
“Sooraj was afraid that divorcing his wife, Uthra would mean the returning of all the dowry. Thats why he planned using viper and cobra to murder his wife” – The police officer.
