Miss Helen who was kidnapped lastweek by unknown gunmen has been rescued, Healthforbes Media reporting.
Miss Helen is a 300 Level Student of one of the best University in the northern part of Nigeria, University Of Jos. Shes a student of the Zoology department. She was abducted Last week wednesday night at their resident by unknown gunmen who attacked the staff quarters of the Federal College of Land Resources Technology located at Kuru Community Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State metropolis.
According to our source, the staff quarters confirmes Miss Helen’s release on Friday the 5th June 2020.
According to them, Miss Helen was picked up at the Heipang community were the local airport is located in the neighbouring Barkin Ladi area of Plateau State on Thursday nightby her family members after the kidnappers dumped her in the bush community of Heipang.

Mr Ubah Ogaba who’s the Spokesman of Plateau State Police Command also made a confirmation that the student has been released by her abductors.
During an interview with Mr Ogaba, who explained that the kidnappers initially demanded for a ransom of 100million, later reduced it to 6million added that
“Yes Miss Helen has been released. I called the divisional Police in the area where the Lady was abducted and the officer told me that she has regained her freedom”
However the PPRO, didnt disclose if the 6million ransom was paid or not before her abductors released Miss Helen
