The Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Aminu lya-Abass, on Thursday, assassins broke into his residence, he base in Mbamba and abducted Two of his family members.
The Assassins that broke into the residence, reputedly murdered a Vigilante.
On Friday, the Adamawa police command affirm the experience but confute media proclaim that any police man died.
A witness said “During the attack, the murders killed a vigilante guarding the house and a police man also sustain bullet wounds”. H-Forbes reported
Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Nguroje, Adamawa police Command, said Two members of the speaker’s family were kidnapped.
Suleiman said “On 5th of November(Thursday), A certain house was attacked by unknown Armed men who killed a vigilante and abducted Two persons from the residence.”
“Around 4am, people rushed to the residence to desist the operations of the assassins, At that substantial time, what mattered to them was to rescue the person that were kidnapped and not who owns the house”.
The State Commissioner of police, Olugbenga Adeyanju, have been directed to go after the Assassins and rescue the persons they abducted.
