Some Fulani herdsmen heavily armed invaded a farm in Alagbaka extension area Ondo State and chased away the farmers from their farm land after causing lots of damages to their crops.
Commander of the Ondo State Network Agency, Mr Adetunji Adeleye also known as “Amotekun Corps” announced this in a statement made by him on Tuesday.
According to Adetunji, more than eight different farmlands with planted crops such as cassava and maize were damaged by the Herdsmen attack.
‘Adeleye revealed that when the heardsmen saw the owners of the maize and cassava farmland, they attempted to kill them but the owners ran speedly for their dear lives.
Reports reached Amotekun Corps about the heardsmen attack by the helpless farmers.

The herdsmen took to their heels when they saw the security agencies outpowered them in a physical attack.
He added that the Amotekun Corps, in collaboration with the Agro-Rangers of the NSCDC, visited the area at once.
“Adeleye stated that 42 cows owned by the heardsmen were later seized by the Amotekun Corps.
On observing the level of damages the heardsmen caused the local farmer’s maize and cassava farms, Adetunji promised that the herdsmen must pay for the maize and cassava crops damages and face prosecution subsequently.
Mr Aluko, who’s one of the farmers complained about how the heardsmen well armed had been damaging their farm. He called for security agencies official help and take immediate action to curtail the incessant attacks Healthforbes Media reporting.
