The United States President, Donald Trump has been taken to Walter Reed Army Medical Centre on the advice of his doctors as a precautionary measure after he was tested positive for COVID-19.
Trump, 74, posted on his official twitter handle on Friday morning reporting that he and his wife, Melania, 50 will self-isolate for two weeks after they both tested positive for the novel Coronavirus.
They were both tested after one of his aides contracted the virus.
President Trump is “fatigued but in good spirits,”Dr Sean Conley who is a White House physician, confirmed this in an earlier statement on Friday, he added that the US President was receiving a cocktail of experimental antibody drugs as a “Precautionary measure.”
Dr Conley also said the First Lady had a mild cough and headache.
