The Deputy Governor of Ondo State Deputy, Agboola Ajayi has resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC).This came after The Deputy Governor,was was stopped from getting out of the Government house by the Commissioner of Police of the State as directed by the state Governor,in the State Capital,Akure.
It was speculated that the Governor made such a move when rumours started going around that Mr Ajayi was Planning to defect from APC.
Ajayi resigned his membership of the APC on Sunday at his country home in Kiribo, Ward 2, Apoi, in Ese-Odo Local Government Area of the state.
Also,the Deputy governor has picked a membership card for the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) in his ward.
The Deputy Governor while addressing party supporters,added that he is happy to be back to the PDP.
