The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria has crossed 1,000 as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reported 114 new cases today Friday 24th April 2020.

The total confirmed cases in Nigeria has reached 1095 as NCDC confirmed 80 new cases in Lagos, 21 in Gombe, 5 in FCT. Zamfara and Edo States reported two cases each. Ogun, Oyo, Kaduna and Sokoto confirmed one case each.
The Nigeria Centre for disease Tweeteed that…“114 new cases of the novel Coronavirus have been reported; the breakdown is as follows, 80 in Lagos; 21 in Gombe; 5 in FCT; 2 in Zamfara; 2 in Edo; 1 in Ogun; 1 in Oyo; 1 in Kaduna; 1 in Sokoto. As at 11:30 pm 24th April there are 1095 confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus reported in Nigeria. With 208 patients discharged after testing negative twice and 32 deaths reported,” the NCDC posted on its Twitter handle, @NCDCgov.
