Prof Isah Abubakar the Director of Centre of Disease Control from Bayero University Kano (BUK) is calling out to government and NCDC to help with more facilities in their Laboratory to curtail the spread of COVID-19 in Kano State which have a population of 13million citizens.
The state have Bayero University Teaching Hospital and Aminu Kano Teaching hospital as their isolation centres. With the rising numbers of COVID-19 patients in Kano, its time to halt the virus in its track. A 1 week complete lockdown is on-going in Kano State right now.
