The Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria, TRCN, yesterday, lamented that about 1.7billion children are forced to remain far from schools across the globe as a results of the coronavirus pandemic, children can’t attend school. Professor Segun Ajiboye who’s the Registrar and Chief Executive of TRCN, stated this while emphasing on the consequences of the novel Coronavirus on education worldwide. Besides, he added that 62million teachers had been adversely suffering from the pandemic. He, however, urged Nigerian students to vigorously brace oneself for major examinations. Ajiboye stated that: “We can not be the same again after COVID-19 has gone away. we’d like technology. we’d like to speculate in it. the globe is moving and can not sit up for us. “Investment should be made in technology to unravel most of our issues. Our teachers and kids are reception. Students have to use this compulsory holiday to organize well for his or her exams and fogeys must support them with the proper motivation and monitoring to make sure that they’re ready for his or her WAEC, NECO, or Junior WAEC.” Healthforbes Media reports.
