Justice Dongban-Mensem From Plateau State As Been Appointed By President Buhari As President Of Court Of Appeal

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,Muhammadu Buhari has nominated Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem,from Plateau state as President of the Court of Appeal.

The president sent Justice Dongban-Mensem’s name to the Senate for confirmation as President of the Appeal Court.

This was revealed in a series of tweets by Buhari’s Senior Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, on Monday.

 Shehu Garba added,Buhari’s action was in line with his constitutional responsibilities.

He wrote;“President Muhammadu Buhari, in-line with his constitutional responsibility have sent the nomination of Her Lordship, Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem, Acting President, Court of Appeal to the Senate for confirmation as President, Court of Appeal Healthforbes Media reporting.

“Justice Dongban-Mensem is a serving Justice of the Court of Appeal and was recommended, as is the practice, by the National Judicial Council for the nomination by the President”.
