Breaking: One dead, 16 injured as twin-bomb explosion rock Borno State

Twin bomb blast was said to have rocked some parts of Borno State on Thursday, Healthforbes Media reporting.

Mohammed Aliyu, who is the Borno State Commissioner of Police reported that not than a person was killed amidst the explosion that was suspected to have been orchestrated by insurgents while 16 others sustained some injuries has learnt by Healthforbes Media.

Mari was were the sound of the explosions came from which led to the gatherings of Custom and Gwange areas of the state, posing panic mode into the residents.

The Commissioner, Mohammed reported that the actual cause of the twin-explosion is yet to be known but some security agencies have been deployed to the affected areas.

He added, “We have dispatched our Explosive Ordinance Detection to investigate the incidents and to determine whether it was an Improvised Explosive Device.

“Right now, I am at the Specialist Hospital where we have 16 casualties and one dead so far”

Asie who’s the Police officer, security personnel consist the Army, Rapid Response Squad, Civilian Joint Task Force and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps were seen moving to the affected areas.
