Breaking: Nigeria’s Death Toll Hits 860 As Total COVID-19 Cases Now 41,180

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, (NCDC) had announced via its official twitter handle that there are 648 new cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria as at 27th July 2020.

Bringing it to a total of 41,180 confirmed cases and 860 deaths recorded including discharging 18,203 patients after receiving treatments from health experts and testing negative twice.

The breakdown of each state is Lagos has 180 new cases, Plateau has 148 new cases, FCT has 44 new cases, Ondo has 42 new cases, Kwara has 38 new cases, Rivers has 32 new cases, Oyo has 29 new cases, Kaduna has 21 new cases, Osun has 20 new cases, Edo has 17 new cases, Ogun has 17 new cases, Ekiti has 11 new cases, Kano has 9 new cases, Benue has 9 new cases, Delta has 9 new cases, Abia has 9 new cases, Niger has 7 new cases, Gombe has 3 new cases, Borno, Bauchi and Imo has 1 new cases each.
