A plane was said to carry some Nigerians who were stranded in the United States because of the novel Coronavirus pandemic. The plane arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja earlier Today Sunday the 10th May 2020 Healthforbes Media reports.
The Boeing 787 Ethiopian Airlines plane landed at the nation’s Capital’s Airport officially called the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja at about 11am this morning hours after departing New York City in the United States.
The FG has commenced evacuation of hundreds of stranded Nigerians who decided to return home from various countries. A total of about 160 Nigerians were expected back in the country today Sunday the 10th May 2020 at morning hours.
Out of the passengers borded in the Ethiopian Airlines, 92 were males. 60 were females and 8 were infants.
Before their arrival, the Federal Government have stationed 5-luxury buses and a coaster bus at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport to transport the returnees to a prepared isolation centres to quarantine them.
The health and airport officials were said to have welcomed and isolated the returnees…
