The official twitter account of the World Health Organisation Of Nigeria Located in the Country’s Capital FCT Abuja earlier this morning tweeted at around 6:45am that there are 3New Confirmed Cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Lagos state today Sunday.
The Commissioner Of Health Of Lagos State, Prof Akin Abayomi Stated that one of the 3new patients is a 51year old Briton who arrived Nigeria on March 8 via BA75 flight.
The second case is a Nigerian on March 14 connecting flight KLO582 London-Amsterdam-Lagos.
Prof Akin also said the third case is a 65year old US citizen who arrived in Lagos about about 6weeks ago. The Commisioner went ahead to advice that occupants of Lagos State should practice social distancing, washing their hands regularly with soaps under runing water or use hand sanitizer often.
The Commissioner also advice Nigerians to practice good personal hygiene and environmental hygiene.
