It likewise said fatalities from coronavirus-related complexities have expanded to 87.
The Nigerian Center For Disease Control, tweeted on its official tweeter handle stating, “On sunday,the 3rd of May 2020, 170 new affirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus were reported and two deaths were recorded in Nigeria.
“No new state has revealed a case over the most recent 24 hours.
2,558 cases have been affirmed, 400 cases have been discharged after treatments by health experts and 87 deaths recorded have been reported in 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory, the nation’s capital.
“12 states in Nigeria were infected with the total number of 170 new confirmed cases announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, (NCDC),the breakdown are as follow-Lagos,which is the epicentre in Nigeria has 39 new cases, Kano which is the epicentre in the north has 29 new cases, Ogun has 24 new cases, Bauchi has 18 new cases, Kaduna has 15 new cases, the nation’s capital, Federal Capital Territory(FCT) has 12 new cases, Sokoto has 12 new cases, Katsina has 8 new cases, Borno has 7 new cases, Nasarawa has 3 new cases, Adamawa has 2 new cases and finally Oyo, southwest part of Nigeria has just 1 new confirmed case.” Healthforbes Media reports
