The First Lady, Her Excellency Aisha Buhari was flown to Dubai, United Arab Emirates for medical treatment.
Healthforbes Media gathered that Her Excellency, wife of the President Muhammadu Buhari travelled out of the country during the Sallah weekend as a result of a persistent neck pain after her return to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, from Lagos.
Hajiya Buhari was reported to have paid a condolence visit to Florence Ajimobi, late former governor of Oyo State widow at the Glover road, Ikoyi residence of the Ajimobis in Lagos.
Abiola Ajimobi died on June 25th due to complications from the deadly novel Coronavirus disease.
Her Excellency, Aisha Buhari went on 14-days self-isolation after her visit to Lagos, now her persistent neck pain had pose a health threat to her for almost a month after her condolence visit to Ajimobi’s widow.
The recurrent scenario shortly after her self-isolation safety protocol was said to have prompted her impromptu trip to dubia for immediate medical check up.
Daily Trust gathered that Her Excellency, who is now taking bed rest at an undisclosed hospital. is in a stable condition.
July 31, Aisha Buhari observed the Eid El-Kabir prayers with her family at home to adhere to the advisories from the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 and the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA).

When Barrister Aliyu Abdullahi who is the Special Assistant to Mrs Buhari he stated he was not aware if Her Excellency was out of the country or not.
“Her Excellency travelled abroad for several weeks last year to treat an undisclosed ailment.
“For the past two weeks, i have not been to the Presidential Villa so i can not attest if my principal is in the country or not. I can assure you that there is no emergency case, he added”

A top Presidential aide said, “The First Lady started having severe neck pain during 2019 Presidential electioneering and immediately travelled abroad for treatment afterwards.
“Although, just recently the pain had returned, this time more severe than it was. So she was immediately flown out last week Healthforbes Media reporting.
