The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control,(NCDC) announced via its official tweeter handle that their are 13 new cases of the novel Coronavirus in Plateau State as at 22 May 2020 at 7:45am.

In view of the rising number of COVID-19 Cases in Plateau State and in furtherance of the resolutions reached at the Plateau State Security Council Meeting presided over by His Excellency Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong, Government wishes that all Eid praying grounds across the State shall be closed to all worshippers.
Operation of Tricycle (Keke Napep) have been banned for Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May 2020. In line with the existing government orders, all recreational centres across the State shall remain closed.
His Excellency Governor Lalong appeals to all residents of Plateau State to adhere to these regulations and continue to take every personal precaution towards preventing the spread of the deadly virus.
