The Nigeria First lady,Dr.Mrs Aisha Muhammadu Buhari Donates medications,foodstuffs and medical equipments through Dr.Hajo Sani,the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Women Affairs and Administration, Dr Hajo Sani presented these items on Wednesday 29th-April-2020 to Hon.Minister Of Women affairs,Dame Pauline Tallen which received the items with gladness on behalf of The Federal Ministry of Women Affairs.

However,Prof.Saad Ahmed, a Chief Medical Director(CMD),Represented the Federal Medical Centre(FMC) also extended their gratitude to the First Lady and gave their words that all the palliative care items shall be delivered to the designated recipients.
Her Excellency, The Erudite First Lady who is a professional cosmetologist and a beauty therapist,who has been in the frontline in the war against Coronavirus, Donated these palliatives as her own quota to suppress the spread of the Coronavirus Pandemic.

The Medical items include personal protection equipments(PPEs) such as disposable gowns,hand gloves, N95 surgical masks and hand sanitizers among others which were presented to Prof.Saad Ahmed to be issued to the Federal Medical Center to help the medical practioners prevent themselves from being infected with (Nosocomial infection) in the course of saving lives and other equipments which will serve as aid to the COVID-19 infected patients,while in the same vein, the First Lady,presented to the Honorable minister of women affairs, Food items which include large bags of Rice,millet,milk,sugar, large gallons of vegetable oil,tomato puree, and other items inclusive to be distributed to women and women groups as palliative care to support the the poor and the vulnerable during this lockdown period.
This was announced by His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari in a live broadcast as he addresses the nation. Mrs, Aisha Buhari through her office as the First Lady of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria has been working hand in hand with the Minister of Women Affairs to promote Civic,social, political and economic participation of women, coordinating and monitoring women’s programmes,providing technical and financial supports to women.
