Today, Sunday morning, the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirka had announced that the Federal Government has authorised the reopening of domestic flights while date of reopening of international flights is yet to be announced.
The Coronavirus pandemic occasionally led to the closure of the airports by the Federal Government.
FG approved 14 airports to restart flights operations after closure for months due to the novel Coronavirus pandemic.

The airports include Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos: Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja; Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano; Port Harcourt International Airport, Omaguwa; Sam Mbakwe Airport, Owerri.
Others include Maiduguri Airport,Maiduguri; Victor Attah Airport, Uyo; Kaduna Airport, Kaduna; Yola Airport, Yola; Margaret Ekpo Airport, Calabar; Sultan Abubakar Airport, Sokoto; Birnin Kebbi Airport, Kebbi; Yakubu Gowon Airport, Jos; and Benin Airport, Benin.
